typology
/tʌɪˈpɒlədʒi/
In photography: a collection of images with a common theme or subject
Typology .01 / Signs of still life
I like finding grotty corners, and piles of debris. They have texture and colour and mess; curated by haphazardly discarded items, late night passers by, and even by the wind.
Refuse, bins, street furniture, graffiti. Crumbling plaster and peeling paint. The tatty, lived-in corners of towns and cities.
Universal in nature, but often distinct to the geography you find them in. Project ongoing.
